Vidcom Solutions Code Blue Promotes "Made In Michigan" With Manufacturing Relocation
After a year of surveying operations and strategic planning, Code Blue announces moving several manufactured components from Asia back to Western Michigan. "When relocating existing operations or embarking upon an expansion or consolidation, successful location selection can greatly impact a company's bottom line, as well as the economic well-being of the chosen location," stated Al Brummel, Code Blue’s general manager.
Brummel added, “Code Blue’s ability to convert opportunities into success depends upon two aspects. The first is how the company responds to changes in the marketplace and the second is the overall health of the company. Code Blue needs to ensure continued company growth by reaching out to customers with new, state-of-the-art and reliable products.”
“We’re thrilled to announce the completion of this move. We’re equally pleased to partner with cutting-edge companies that provide a unique method of manufacturing products allowing us to streamline our throughput and meet future production requirements.” "In relocating these manufacturing operations domestically, these aforementioned issues will be addressed. The impact of company growth, product research and development will have, in turn, a direct affect on stimulating the economical growth of our local Michigan partners."
Code Blue products qualify with the Buy America provision of the Amercian Recovery and Reinvestment Act passed February 2009. The $787 billion dollar stimulus plan includes funds to award contracts, grants and loans to strengthen the safety and security of primary and secondary schools, universities, corporations, hospitals, airports, transit systems and similar facilities.
